Iloilo City, like the rest of the country has two seasons: rainy and dry. The rainy seasons starts in June and lasts until October, while the onset of the dry season is in late November and ends in May. The average temperature throughout the year ranges from 21°C to 35°C (70°F to 95°F). It is suggested to wear light garments during the hot and dry season, however, the venue is air-conditioned. Conference attire may be a suit, or a long sleeved shirt and tie (or even no tie) and dress pants for men. For women, a skirt or pants and long-sleeved dress shirt or blouse, or in a dress.



In the Philippines the standard voltage is 220 V and the frequency is 60 Hz. The power plugs and sockets are of type A, B, and C. Appliances on 110/120 V need a voltage converter and a plug adapter.
